Imho, you should wait the full two weeks before you call.
If I had told an applicant to wait two weeks and they jumped the gun, I wouldn’t appreciate it. Honestly, you’re not listening to what she asked you to do in the interview. As a potential employer, I’d be wondering if you’d listen to me on the job.
I know you’re very anxious, but try to be patient. Show her that you listened to what she said and can follow directions.
Will you totally blow it if you call her early? Probably not. I just would do as I was asked. I think you’ll leave her with a much better impression and increase your chances of being hired.
Good luck, I hope you get the job whatever you decide to do.

Why you should call tomorrow?
Remember you are applying for a position where the person in charge told you that it will take about 2 weeks to have an answer.
If you call or send an email asking, they will think you are desperate and, the worst, that you don’t listen to what has been told you!
And HR areas or any other business searching for candidates will automatically put aside the ones that can sound pushy or the ones whom they think don’t paid attention to what they said.
So be patient, and if in two weeks your don’t receive a phone call or a letter thanking you for the application (ergo you didn’t get the job), just move forward dear.
Good luck!

Just phone the receptionist and give your name and let her know that you had an interview.. with… (name of the interviewer) and the date on which you had the interview, tell her you were supposed to call back and would like to know about the position… if it has been filled already.. as you are interested in the job…
Normally they should call those people back automatically whom thy want to see again for maybe a second interiview or whom they wish to hire but you are right.. you definitely should phone and find out if the job is still available and let them know you are interested in working there…
I believe it’s ok to phone.. even if the job may be gone.. you never know.. at least this shows you really are interested and you can’t lose anything by phoning if you were asked to call again after 2 weeks…
