and never had any activities in school? I know there are a lot of jobs that I could take but what’s the one with the best wage? And how much does it pay? I know it’s still going to be little.

Try being a receptionist. It will introduce you to skills you can use in the future, and the pay is usually a little better than sales/retail jobs. It’s not the easiest job, and it may be a little hard to get it, because you’ll have some competition, but if you get it, I think it could help you in the future.

It’s kind of hard to give you some advice without knowing what direction you would like to take with your life. You say you’re not good an anything, but everyone has something they like to do, and if you like doing something, even if you’re not the best at it, you will be more likely to work to improve yourself at it. So, what do you enjoy doing? Once you have that figured out, I would find some work at the bottom of that field, learn as much as you can on the job, maybe even go to night school to further your knowledge. People will pay you more once you gain some experience, but you have to be prepared to slog it out a bit.

Umm you don’t have any experience so I find it very unlikely that you will find a job as a secretary or something like that seeing as I am the same age, and a HS graduate WITH experience and had a really hard time finding a job. Do you have any experience babysitting possibly? Maybe you can find a job as a babysitter?
Or, you can try to find a job as a secretary, if you get lucky they MAY hire you.
Unfortunately, I think your best bet is to look into fast food restaurants, or pharmacies like CVS, etc because they are much more likely to hire you without any type of experience.
Good luck!

Well, Banks usually pay pretty decent-like $9-$12 an hour. Or you can try waitressing…they honestly can make a killing in a night. When I waitressed at Applebee’s at your age I would bring home $150 in tips on a good night (figuring weekends) and then average like $75 on a regular night. So that isn’t bad-just pick a popular restraunt.
Other than that…first jobs don’t mean crap. It’s the skills you’ll be able to say that you learned and retained and can work off of at the NEXT job that will be important.
Best of Luck.
Hight paying first time jobs though are kinda hard now-the economy is so wretchedly horrible.

The army is a good start.
Decent pay, your get to see the world and you would be amazed how many doors it opens for you when you get out.
I applied for 10 jobs when I got out and all ten gave me call backs. Most of the jobs I had no business applying for and was offered the work based on military service.
I didn’t think I was good at anything, turns out I’m good at building things and blowing them up. Not much use for that in the real world though.
I ended up going to university though and the army paid..
Good luck.

With not much eduation you wont able to make a whole bunch of money. But that depends on where you live also. Where i live all the good payed jobs require college eduation and experiance at something. Which sucks. I would start from the bottom to the top finding jobs. LIke restraunts and easy work then if u dont get accepted go and try stores and warehouses.

A good thing to do would be to look into a community college-this would give you some more education and skills that would make it easier to get a good paying job. It is easier when you are young-I waited till I was older to go back to college and its a lot harder on me now.

Your 20 and you’ve never had a job? there are not a lot of options for you other than food service….do you have any skills? filing? you could try for a customer service job but you’d really have to impress by being very out going. Most jobs want experience, even if it’s not in that field.

What do you like? If you like fashion, like my sister, work at a clothing store. If you like kids, work at a daycare. If you like to write, send it to be published.
