Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a world-famous, international car rental company. As the largest car rental company in North America (and arguably the world), Enterprise has an annual turnover of more than $10.1 billion. This company has more than 904,000 vehicles in its rental and leasing fleet. The company was originally founded in 1957, yet didn’t adopt the name ‘Enterprise Rent-A-Car’ until the end of the 1980’s.

Enterprise has a Management Training Scheme, rather than a graduate program; however, this is much like other graduate programs in the type of training it provides. When you join the Enterprise Management Training Scheme, you will work at one of the branches of Enterprise and learn from hands-on experiences. You will learn the skills necessary to run the business yourself, from sales and marketing to finance and customer service. You will be a Management Trainee, and you will have a competitive income. In as little as 12 months, you could be promoted to Management Assistant. If you choose, during the Training Scheme, you could specialize if there is an area of the business in which you find a particular interest. For example, you could decide to specialize in Marketing or Finance.
Internship Options
The Internship Programme at Enterprise is open to first and second year university students. This program allows students to try working at Enterprise to both gain valuable experience and to see if a career at Enterprise is the right choice for them after university. As an intern, a student will be a Management Trainee. This position gives students the opportunity to get hands-on training in many aspects of working at Enterprise. Best of all, Enterprise offers paid internships.
