Graduate Options
At Allen & Overy, the graduate option is a two-year training program that is divided into a series of three- and six-month seats. You will be given the opportunity to create your seat plan, which can be tailored to your own interests and career aspirations. The firm’s core areas of expertise are Corporate, Banking, and International Capital Markets; therefore, you will need to spend at least twelve months of your training seats gaining experience in at least two of these areas. You also must gain contentious experience through either the Litigation or Employment departments; you may also opt to take a Litigation course to complete this requirement. Throughout all of the training seats, you will work closely with Allen & Overy to ensure your success.
Internship Options
Allen & Overy offers an international summer vacation programme for twelve students each year. Students work in one of the firms key international offices for one week after completing a three-week summer programme in London. There are also summer placement opportunities that take place completely in the UK.
