M.B.A.
There are leadership development programs available for those who will acquire an M. B. A. or who already hold one. Fast-track your career with the mentorship and guidance of experienced professionals and challenge yourself in a summer internship or full-time program.
The 10-week summer internship, also known as SAP (Summer Associates Program) involves executive networking, team challenges and is a good introduction to the full-time program. You’ll be placed in your area of interest, working on real projects. Many of the SAP graduates return to the Management Associates full-time Program. You can apply for this program after your first year of education, working toward an M. B. A. It’s a stellar opportunity to network with and learn from colleagues within Thomson Reuters, to learn the industry and to gain valuable experience in your chosen field.
The Management Associates Program (MAP) is for those who’ve received an M. B. A. and who qualify for this prestigious internship. This program lasts two years, broken in to different six to nine month assignments. You’ll work with executives already within the Thomson Reuters framework in the areas of strategy, operations, marketing, finance, human resources, technology and customer service. You also may have the opportunity to work in various offices around the world.
This program requires a completed M.B.A. as well as five years of experience with a large corporation, excellent skills and abilities and an innate sense for business. Only those with the highest level of qualifications and potential are accepted into this internship program.
Once accepted, however, the leadership training an developing, coaching sessions, mentoring, counseling and real-world training make this a program that can change your future and assure you a career with an innovative, international company.
Other Advanced Degrees
For individual with a Ph.D. or a law degree, there are opportunities available at Thomson Reuters. That you’ve achieved one of these degrees shows that you’re able to achieve academically, and your valuable experience shows that you can achieve professionally. Positions are generally available, though there are no internship programs like our Management Associate program for employees who come in with these degrees.
