H2 Visa – Job Application Cover Letter – Help?

Hello,
I need some help and not sure if this is the right category, but it has to do with immigration.
I’m apply for a couple of jobs in Orlando Florida, I’m just back from staying and working there for 6 months. I would love to go back – although its a lot harder than jumping on a plane and moving.
There are a few opening in a couple of companies I would like a job with but how do I put this forward in a cover letter that I would need the company to sponsor me.
Do I just mention that I done an international college program and have come back home but would like the opportunity to continue working. – that way with international they would know that i need sponsorship.
Do I state I need sponsorship to work for the company to get an H2 visa? Although that is direct, I feel like it will hurt my chances of getting a job or even considered for the job. (eg. they see it and just trash my resume).
So how would I go about handling this situation?
Thanks for any help, advice, and even examples.
(if i’ve missed anything out I will try and update with more details).

Add to your resume about your visa status as follows.
Legal status : Visa ( sponsorship required )
If I were you, I would mention about international college program and previous work exprerience. If someone intrested and reaches out for further details and date of availablity etc, I would discuss the need of visa sponsorship etc at that point.
Anyway, it is a tricky situation. I wish you all the luck.
