Insurance Won’t Cover Hospital Bill, What To Do?

A few weeks ago I had a overdose due to my medications being mixed with a painkiller and I was hospitalized for a night since I almost died. I have insurance through the state since I’m basically homeless and unemployed. However, I recieved a letter stating my insurance would not pay for my hospitalization. My hospital bill is nearly $20,000!!! I have absolutely no way to pay this anytime in the near future, I can’t even find a job.
Are there any options out there to help people in situations like mine??
