I recently just graduated a month ago, and although I am looking for a job, I get nervous that I might not do well on the job. I feel like I may not know enough to do well, even the simpliest things. Is this normal. If not what can I do to just be a go getter and find a job with confidence. In school I was in charge of all sorts of things, but it was a comfort zone. And I already know about your career office but unfortunately, the guy that run’s the career office at our school only get jobs for his favorites. Any help!?

It is totally normal to get nervous about jobs. Even after 10 years in the job market I still get nervous about new jobs I take. Most jobs have a on the job training program to help you get ready for your job. Some jobs will even have a training schedule for you. No job is going to expect you to know everything the moment you step into the job (at least not at the starting positions). Even CEOs get a 120 day period to get used to a new company.

Everyone probably gets a little nervous when trying something new. However, you know the quality work you are capable of and you know you have received an education and training. When you get your new job, just do the best you can and then take it the extra mile. You will be fine! Don’t rely entirely on the career office. Get out there and search for yourself also. Post your resume online. Check ads. You can be in charge of your own destiny. Isn’t that what you went to school for?
Best wishes!

in any kid of job, no matter if it is a factory job, you need to physically and mentally tell yourself that you are able to do anything. if you tell yourself its not possible, then you will perform like a slob, because you didnt have faith in at least doing your BEST.
