Some Tips
1. Figure out couple of good keywords that match in your resume, and than search for Jobs at Siftin.com or indeed.com
2. Don’t go to myspace, rather build a network on Linkedin
3. Use Windows free Fax service to send the resume
4. Tailor your resume AND cover letter per job posting

You and i are in exact same boat. I too am having difficulties with finding a job and i feel to that CNA is the only job right now that i can get until something better comes along. Since you already said that you want to work in the health field anyways, i think that working as a home health aid first would be a good stepping stone. And it would really look good on your resume as well. It would help you to get your foot in the door of the health care field you want to work in. Best of luck to you.

My friend is going thru the same thing She’s been looking for 2 months now. She emailed 20 resumes yesterday and still nothing. You just need to hang in there eventually something will come up. I’m not sure exactly what a home helth aide does, but if it will bring in money while you find something else, then go for it

Home health aide sounds good. No shame in that at all, even if you have a degree. And it’s something like a nurse, so I’d expect it to look good on your resume.
This economy is worse than I’ve ever seen. Hang in there, keep applying. There is no string of rejections that does not come to an end.
