if i’m applying for a job I found posted in a webite ??
is this necessary ,
can’ t i just write this instead ? ?

Your Intro is very good and covers everything you need to say. You needn’t tell them you’ll call in a week….sounds a little like you’re giving them a deadline to make a descision.
