OMFG!!!! . . . this answer is from another question but is similar . . . in some ways . . .
My question to you . . . is why do you have a girlfriend . . . you are too young to have a girlfriend.
Plus . . . what do you want to do in your life . . . what are your career goal . . . your dreams . . . what do you hope to accomplish?
I tell guys . . . don’t get married – - don’t even be in a serious relationship with a girl. . . until you have fulfilled those goals. . . because if they do . . . their girlfriends are going to complain that you spend too much time at work and don’t spend enough time with me.
So what do you do . . . sacrifice your career and then she’ll complain that you don’t bring enough money home . . . you spend too much time with her.
All the girlfriend is going to do right now is waste your time and money . . . and when you make serious mad money . . . when you are in your mid 30′s . . . girls half your age will be approaching you . . . hotter than your current girlfriend.
After you have had your fun . . . finish college and get a great career . . . then you may look to find someone. But I still wouldn’t recommend marriage . . . because what is in it for a guy that he doesn’t get without being married.
Absolutely nothing . . . because you can have the same exact thing . . . (have sex, love someone, have a child, etc) . . . being single as well as being married . . . unless you want to give her half of everything you own . . . after you get divorced (That is what is in it for the women – - they get your stuff and you money and you can’t sleep with them anymore.)
What I want you to do . . . is listen to Tom . . . he is a radio personality . . . and he will help . . . Every Thursday . . . has Leykis 101 . . . which is the on-air educational program that teaches men how to get more tail for less money . . . and teaches women how men think.
Please tell me that you are using a condom . . . because if she knows that you will not marry her now . . . she will try to get herself knocked up by you to trap you . . . into doing the right thing (for her – not you).
I have no idea where you are located . . . but you can listen live on-line at www.blowmeuptom.com . . . and click on the listen live link . . . and you can call him (In the Unites States) at 1-800-5800-TOM.
Call him with this question . . . and tell Dino (the screener) to grow a pair from Taga . . . but don’t forget to tell him your problem.
Ask Tom about your concerns . . . he will give you the straight answers you need to make your life a success with no punches pulled.

It’s my friend’s Birthday, and I bought him a book I think he’ll like. I wrote a little something on the cover, but now I’m stumped as to how to end it with my signature. While I do love him dearly as a friend (we’ve known each other since we were kids), I’m married now and think it would be weird and inappropriate to end with “With Love, Dolyn” or “Love, Dolyn” like I usually end letters to my female friends, family, and of course my husband:) I also don’t want to just write “Sincerely” or “Regards” because that sounds so cold and informal to me. This guy has been my friend forever; he’s like one of my brothers. Do you think I’m being silly and should just sign “Love, Dolyn” like I always do? Or, do you have another suggestion?
P.S., As a side note, I think it’s funny how after being married 4 years, I am just now running into this situation! You think it would have come up sooner, eh? Thanks!
