What Are Some High Paying Jobs For A Graduate With A Four Year Degree In Sociology?

I am graduating from SUNY College at Brockport in may 2009 and I will have a four year degree with a major in sociology but I have no clue what careers I can pursue that pay well. I eventually want to get my masters in educational counseling.

If you already know what Masters you want to do, I would just go ahead and do it. You’ll get a better job with a Masters.

I hate to tell you this: but there are none. You will be a graduate of a state school with a common, non-professional degree. You will find the jobs open to you are low level civil service and sales jobs. “High paying” jobs out of college go to engineers, accountants, nurses and other vocationally trained people. Those jobs tend to top out rather quickly, but that is where the immediate money is.
If this doesn’t appeal to you, then you need to get some further education.
