I am in college taking computer architecture and when i graduate i would like to be a programmer. How often do programmers, in their day to day job, encounter problems involving things like binary division?? I don’t every really see myself caring as a programmer what J-type R-type instructions are, how pipeline works ect…
I mean don’t get me wrong, it has its uses, and it is cool to understand how indepth how computers are. But wouldn’t my time as a student be better spent taking a class learning more about programming languages??
